About
Pop The Balloon Walk Out or Men Walking Away Reaction Image refers to an exploitable meme and reaction image derived from the YouTube series Pop The Balloon Or Find Love. The image and its variations, which are typically used to signal leaving (a video, comment section, etc.), began spreading on TikTok in early 2026. Edits using the format typically add in additional characters or replace the men and combine them walking away from behind.
Origin
Pop The Balloon Or Find Love is an online dating show on YouTube in which contestants are brought out to face a line of singles, each holding a red balloon that they have to keep to progress in the game. If the singles are not interested in the contestant, usually due to their physical appearance, relationship preferences or personal beliefs, they pop the balloon to signify that they are withdrawing from consideration.
On January 15th, 2026, TikTok[1] user @nyyclickin posted a recent lineup for the dating show, captioning the video, "this is the lineup from hell," which received about 106,000 views and 6,940 likes within less than three months.
@nyyclickin genuinely went 7/11 😭😭 #fyp #undergroundmusic #viral #fyppppppppppppppppppppppp #poptheballoon ♬ Lackvill NO JUMPER – lackvill
While the video itself did not gain much traction as a meme, the comment section exhibits early variations of the reaction image and its use over the following days, spawning the format.
Spread
On January 18th, 2026, TikTok[2] user @e_a20.13 uploaded a video of different singles walking off Pop The Balloon Or Find Love, commenting on the abundance of out-of-context clips featuring men walking off the show with the caption, "Where they walking to, I'm crine." The video received over 2.9 million views and 507,200 likes in less than three months.
@e_a20.13 They walking to no where gng😭🤣😭 #poptheballoon #funny #fyp #foryoupage #viral ♬ ohoho ononono hahaha – päroddoboingo
Variations of the reaction images seen in the above comment sections continued to spread, with users adding other contestants or fictional characters, the most prominent of the latter category being Tung Tung Tung Sahur, who would become permanently ingrained in the trend.
The first known instance of the Tung Tung Tung Sahur variation of the reaction image can be found in the comment section of the video shown above, which was posted on January 29th, 2026.
On February 3rd, 2026, TikTok[3] user @dontmake_medrinkalone posted footage of singles walking off Pop The Balloon with the caption, "Me and my hgs walk of shame of being rejected from the club," which received about 553,600 views and 141,300 likes in about two months.

Once again, the video's comment section featured variations of the reaction meme, with TikTok users adding more characters to the lineup, or placing the singles in different environments such as The Backrooms.
