Skibidi Toilet or Creeper is a viral video of a Russian kid choosing between a Skibidi Toilet and a creeper in favor of the former, and pushing the later into the lava as he comments on his Minecraft gameplay. The video was later dubbed in Polish and went viral on TikTok where it spawned What If X Was in Minecraft memes.

Origin

The exact origin of the gameplay clip is currently unknown. On July 2nd, 2023, TikTok^[1] user spider_kerfus made the earliest found upload of the clip, with the clip gaining over 14,900 views and 570 likes in two months (shown below).

On July 12th, 2023, Redditor Internet_Dood5820 uploaded the clip to the /r/PhoenixSC^[2] subreddit, where it gained over 880 upvotes in two months. On July 21st, YouTube^[3] user 0006bistermeast reuploaded the video, with the upload garnering over 17,000 views in one month.

On July 7th, TikToker^[4] themonterlandsfinest posted the Polish version of the video dubbed in Polish with a high-pitched voice. The video (shown below) received over 2 million views and 181,000 likes in two months.

The upload was followed by TikToks in which users recreated the video in Minecraft. For example, on July 21st, 2023, TikTok^[5] user @mawin2114 posted a video that received over 1.6 million views and 97,100 likes in one month (shown below, left). On July 22nd, TikToker^[6] winner_x9 posted a version that gained over 366,000 views and 18,700 likes in the same period (shown below, right).

In late August 2023, an AI Voice If X Played Minecraft meme featuring character Heavy from Team Fortress 2 dubbing the Polish version of the meme went viral (author unknown). On August 25th, 2023, the Twitter^[7] account @heavyfortres uploaded the video, gaining over 2,600 reposts and 13,000 likes in four days (shown below).
