About

Drive is a 2011 action drama film directed by Nicolas Winding Refn based on a 2005 novel of the same name. The film stars Ryan Gosling as the Driver, a silent type who works as a stunt driver by day and a getaway driver for criminals by night. Over the 2010s, the film grew to become very popular on 4chan's /tv/ board and later in the "manosphere," with the Driver becoming the first recognized Literally Me character, and spawning the Literally Me trend.
