For example, on the 15th, X^[1] user @MangaMoguraRE made a post about the manga, translating the title as "The Dark Brown Latina Girl Is Aiming For My Body." The post gathered over 38,000 likes in four days (seen below).

Girl Named 'Latina' Controversy

Soon after the manga was announced, various internet users began to note that the Japanese title implied that the girl wasn't just Latin-American, but actually named Latina. @MangaMoguraRE quoted their original post^[2] and addressed the speculations, saying that they "think both is true, she's named Latina but the 'Latina-san' in the title can also mean a latina girl-san" (seen below, left).

One of the illustrators, Oryou,^[3] confirmed that the girl was an "indigenous person of the Amazon" named Latina in a post made on August 16th, 2024 (seen below, right).
