Tbh or Tbh Creature also known as Autism Creature or Yipee or Yippee refers to an MS Paint drawing of a white, four-legged creature with a large head, neutral expression and big black eyes. A drawing of the creature was first posted to Twitter in January 2021 and became popularized on Tumblr in early 2022, inspiring fan art and memes. The character is sometimes referred to jokingly as the mascot of autism. It is also known as yipee or yippee due to several memes using a "yipee" sound effect along with the creature.

Origin

On January 1st, 2021, Twitter[1] user @acmeiku posted a meme captioned, "I'm playing Identity V, fancy a game?" showing a four-legged creature with a blank expression and black eyes, gaining over 180 likes in a year (shown below, left). The creature is based on a drawing[2] of a similar creature made by the user sometime in or before December 2020 that shows the acronym "Tbh" next to it (shown below, right). This is where the name "Tbh" originally comes from.

Twitter user @acmeiku is also known as princestarangel on Tumblr,[3] where he confirmed his authorship of the character on February 2nd, 2022.

Tbh became popularized on Tumblr[4] in early 2022, inspiring memes and fan art depicting the character in different costumes and situations. The character is also jokingly referred to as the "mascot of autism" or the "autism cat" by some. On January 24th, 2022, Tumblr[5] user rennegan reblogged a post by girlbito reading, "So obsessed w that thing its like the spokesperson for autism," adding an image of Tbh, gaining over 12,700 notes in four months (shown below).

Tbh is often drawn interacting with Among Us crewmates. On January 24th, Tumblr[6] user mimikyufriend posted a drawing of Tbh carrying a crewmate baby over to two baby Tbh's, writing, "among us baby is accepted into the litter," gaining over 28,000 notes in four months (shown below, left). On February 3rd, Tumblr[7] user cupidtxt posted an image of Tbh poking a crewmate, writing, “The Amongi bean seems to have imprinted onto the mother TBH. It may be tougher to separate the duo when it comes time for adoption day," gaining over 10,900 notes in three months (shown below, right). On February 12th, Tumblr[8] user violetgec posted six 3D renders of Tbh, gaining over 2,300 notes in three months

On April 14th, Tumblr[9] user debu-kun posted a drawing of Tbh in a field with multiple Among Us crewmates, offering them an apple as a peace offering, gaining over 6,500 notes in two weeks (shown below).



On April 22nd, YouTuber[10] EGGPRIEST posted an original animation showing two Tbh creatures battling, gaining over 24,000 views in a week (shown below). The video uses an audio clip of a child saying "yipee" that is often associated with the meme, originating from a video where a child talks about playing Fortnite and drinking cola.[11]
