In Tekken 8, upon completing Kazuya Mishima's story campaign, Kazuya smirks and walks through two doors behind him, showcasing a vast collection of sneakers, in line with a niche bit of lore about Kazuya that he collects sneakers as a hobby.^[1] The scene was uploaded to YouTube on January 25th, 2024, by YouTuber PowerPyx.

On January 29th, Twitter user @Murdoink^[2] posted an edit of the scene, showing Kazuya walking into a room full of dildos. The tweet gained over 160 retweets and 850 likes in roughly two weeks (shown below).

On February 5th, 2024, Murdoink posted a second edit, this time showing Mishima walking into a room of Funko Pops, gaining over 690 retweets and 5,500 likes in three days (shown below).

The following day, Murdoink posted a green-screen edit to Twitter,^[3] gaining over 790 retweets and 5,300 likes in two days and helping the meme spread further on social media. On February 7th, user @Virtual___Girl posted an edit showing Kazuya walking into the Chao garden from Sonic Adventure 2, gaining over 1,000 retweets and 5,400 likes in one day (shown below, top).

On February 8th, 2024, Twitter user @2005Dojima posted an edit of Kazuya walking into an idol concert from the Yakuza series, gaining over 270 retweets and 1,400 likes in eight hours (shown below, bottom).
