About
Tetoris is a song produced by Hiiragi Magnetite by using voice synthesizer SynthV (similar to Vocaloid) of Kasane Teto, and music of game Tetris. Released in November 2024, both the song and the animation gained popular in late 2024 and early 2025 with remixes, covers, mashups, and MADs.
Origin
On November 8th, 2024, YouTube[1] user 柊マグネタイト (Hiiragi Magnetite) uploaded music video titled "テトリス / 重音テトSV". The song using SynthV of Kasane Teto, and music reference from game Tetris. The video received more than 33 million views in three months (shown below).
Spread
Starting late 2024, both the song and the animation gained popular with covers and MADs. For example on December 18th, 2024, YouTube[2] user 安価壁 uploaded an edit of various cat memes, including Oiiaoiia using the song. The video received more than 360,000 views in two months (shown below).
On January 20th, 2025, indie Virtual YouTuber Shigure Ui via her YouTube[3] uploaded the cover of the song. The video received more than 2.3 million views in one month (shown below).
