About

The Great Noticing is a catchphrase, largely considered to be an antisemitic dog whistle, that promotes the conspiracy theory that Israel and Jewish people, in general, hold a sizable influence on American and global politics. The trend follows TikTokers claiming that more people are "noticing" this supposed sway. The term "noticing" is related to the nooticer Wojak meme that originated in alt-right circles on 4chan in 2021. Videos and memes featuring the phrase, "The Great Noticing," began to gain traction on TikTok in July and August 2025, highlighting related conspiracy theories like Blaming the Rothschilds and Dancing Israelies. Such memes also reference antisemitic dog whistles, like referring to Adolf Hitler as "the Painter," and implying that discussing the "Great Noticing" would get you assassinated.

Origin

The term "nooticer" or "noticing" originated as an antisemitic dog whistle on websites like 4chan, as seen in an August 9th, 2022, post on the /pol/ [1] board that reads, "I want to start a politically, religiously, ethnically, and racially agnostic movement which seeks to normalize the discussion of Jewish power among the general public."

Although this is something I've been wanting to do for a while, Kanye's recent activity has fostered the ideal sociopolitical landscape required for something like this to thrive. What are some things I can do to ensure the success of this movement?
