On January 31st, 2025, TikTok[1] user @paiz2610 posted a video humorously showing her husband playing with a yoga ball, writing “Realizing I changed my emergency contact from my mom to this man.” The video amassed over 28 million plays and 5.7 million likes in a week. (seen below)

For instance, on February 10th, 2025, user @sullivang[2] posted a video of her partner playing in the snow (seen below), captioning “my emergency contact,” which amassed over 68 million plays and 8 million likes in three days.
