Thomas' O face is commonly used in Thomas the Tank Engine Youtube Poops. It is gaining increasing popularity as more Thomas Poops are being made.

It is from the episode "Thomas Goes Fishing" of Thomas and Friends where an inspector asks the fat controller what he can see in Thomas' boiler. The fat controller after looking in the boiler says "Inspector?" "Can you see… FISH?!". Thomas is shocked at this and you see Thomas showing a strange face with an, almost creepy, note playing as he pulls the strange face.

The O face is used by poopers such as "Keeper Of Porridge" being the most well known user of the O face and is probably responsible of the spread of The O Face.

This is (or should I say 'was') sort of a meme. It started out in the Thomas YTP community when Keeper of the Porridge (AKA Keeper of the Beans) used it a lot in his Youtube Poops. Since then, many other users thought it was funny and incorperated it into their own stuff. Soon enough it was known throughout the Thomas the Tank Engine fandom, and even Keeper of the Beans himself acknowledged it (even though he was sick of seeing it as a meme, which he mentioned in one of his YTP's).

The reason why it's not actually a meme now is because lots of Thomas fans decided that it was gonna be huge so they tried (emphasis on the word 'tried') to spread it across the internet so they too could get a laugh from it. It was labeled as a forced meme by non-Thomas fans and That's where we're at today.

So basically… It had the potential, but things did a turn for the worst and it fell flat on its O-face (see what I did there?). At the moment it's just an in-joke of the Thomas fandom.
