Tyler The Creator "Funny Funny Funny" Filter or You Think You're So Fucking Funny, Huh? refers to a video clip of rapper Tyler, the Creator with a filter applied to his face that makes his eyes and mouth bulge out, taken from a 2021 Instagram Live video in which Tyler takes calls from fans. The clip became notably popular on TikTok in late July and August of that year as an original sound in lip-dub videos.
Origin
On June 25th, 2021, Tyler, the Creator went live on Odd Future collaborator Jasper's Instagram[1] page to answer fan calls while driving a car (shown below in two parts, left and right). The original video has since been removed or was never made available for streaming after the Live.
Throughout the stream, Jasper puts a number of filters on Tyler. At one point in the stream, Jasper puts a filter on Tyler that makes his eyes and mouth bulge out. Tyler says, "Are you putting another filter on me?" with it applied, then continues, "You think you're so fucking funny, huh? Funny, funny, funny" (shown below).
Spread
On June 26th, 2021, TikToker[2] @tylerthecreatorlover101 posted the isolated clip of Tyler saying, "You think you're so fucking funny, huh? Funny, funny, funny," gaining over 917,000 views in just under two months. The sound became notably popular over the course of July as TikTokers began lip dubbing to it in skits, often using the sound to show embarrassing photos from their past that are also funny. On July 23rd, TikTokers[3][4] @ibthelobster_ and @nito.cruz posted videos using the sound, gaining over 5.2 million and 4 million views each in three weeks (shown below, left and right).

On August 3rd, TikToker[5] @pigsandplans posted the clip the sound originates from, gaining over 12 million views in 10 days. On the same date, TIkTokers[6][7] @catsaresuperkool and @poplikethstguy posted videos showcasing embarrassing yet funny photos, gaining over 7.9 million and 7 million views respectively in the 10 days (shown below, left and right).
