Udin Din Din Dun or O Din Din Din Din Dun Ma Din Din Din Dun, also known as Udindindindun or U Din Din Din Din Dun Ma Din Din Din Dun, is an AI-generated Indonesian Brainrot character depicted as an anthropomorphic orange with a single leaf on his head, a human face, muscular arms and legs, a red or purple Speedo and Nike high-top sneakers, often shown standing in a gym. The character is part of the larger Italian Brainrot series of memes, similar to Tung Tung Tung Sahur.

The character emerged online sometime in early 2025, spreading through funk and phonk remixes, memes, fan art, AI-generated videos, AI art and other content, such as appearances in games like Brainrot Evolution. According to his lore, the bodybuilder-orange hybrid was created when a regular human consumed orange seeds, which transformed his body.

Origin

The exact creation and creator of the character are unknown, but according to the website Play Brainrot,^[1] a site based around AI brainrot characters, the first Udin Din Din Dun post appeared on YouTube around February 25th, 2025. However, the videos were not discoverable or have since been deleted.

The earliest known active post of Udin Din Din Dun comes from a TikTok^[2] shared by user reisonbs on March 2nd, 2025, which features an AI-generated image of the character posing in a gym as an AI voice says, "Udin Din Din Din Dun Ma Din Din Din Dun, merupakan sosok jeruk yang memiliki mata dan mulut. Dulunya, ia hanyalah seorang manusia biasa. Karena sering menelan biji jeruk, ia alhasil berubah menjadi Udin Din Din Dun jeruk," in Indonesian. The post garnered over 1.2 million views, 30,200 likes and 780 comments in a year and a half.

The voiceover translates to English as, "Udin din din din dun ma din din din dun is an orange-like figure that has eyes and a mouth. He used to be an ordinary human, but after frequently swallowing orange seeds, he eventually transformed into Udin Din Din Dun orange."

Udin Din Din Dun continued appearing in additional AI-generated content, memes and songs over the following months and years as he became more prevalent on the internet.

For instance, on March 3rd, 2026, TikToker^[3] knagkto_tiktok shared an AI-generated video of the character, garnering over 58,600 likes and 1,490 comments in roughly one year.

Udin Din Din Dun was prominently featured as the subject of numerous funk songs and remixes in early-to-mid-2025, such as a post by YouTuber^[4] 1HXSX on April 15th, titled "UDIN DIN DIN DUN FUNK ( Super Slowed Version ) | udindindindun funk," which received over 10 million views, 30,000 likes and 700 comments in roughly a year.

On May 30th, 2025, the TikTok^[5] account quickai00 uploaded a video explaining Udin Din Din Dun's backstory and how the character came to be, with the lore video garnering over 88,100 likes and 4,250 comments in roughly one year.

On June 3rd, 2025, the YouTube channel Hornstromp 3D shared another origin story featuring the character and several other Italian Brainrot Animals, titled "ODINDINDINDUN SAD ORIGIN STORY," receiving over 5.1 million views, 19,000 likes and 750 comments in a year.

On June 18th, 2025, X / Twitter^[6] user AGDugin posted a tweet about the character alongside an image of him standing in a gym, garnering over 784,900 views, 4,200 likes and 290 replies in a year.

On June 30th, 2025, a since-deleted Redditor posted an AI video of Udin Din Din Dun and Tung Tung Tung Sahur to the /r/brainrot^[7] subreddit, receiving over 430 upvotes and 40 comments in a year.

Various content related to Udin Din Din Dun persisted on different social media platforms heading into 2026 as the AI character remained prevalent online.

On April 1st, 2026, TikToker^[8] OYUM_AI shared a short AI-generated story about a young Udin Din Din Dun and several other brainrot characters, garnering over 15,500 likes and 1,180 comments in four months.
