About

"Your Average Latina," also known as "Ur Average Latina," refers to a series of viral Thirst Trap tweets and image macros using a photo of a Latina girl, wearing jeans and a black top, sitting next to a rustic wood-fired cooking setup in a sheet metal-roofed shelter biting her thumb provacatively and showing her full-body side profile to the camera. The photo was commonly captioned, "Your average Latina: Mi amooooor, I didn't know if you wanted cochinita or ceviche, so I made both!" to romanticize the idea of having a Latina lover, akin to Nationality Stereotypes.

The woman pictured is Colombian TikToker @andaliva_official (Andaliva), who shared it as part of a photo slideshow in May 2025. In the following months, several Twitter / X and Facebook users reposted the image, pairing it with captions loosely following the aforementioned. The posts inspired viral discourse and memes about the pros and cons of having a Latina lover or the fetishization of Latina women, using Andaliva as an archetype.
