Patricia Bullrich (former minister of security and currently running for President) has asked for a <a href="https://www.clarin.com/politica/patricia-bullrich-pierde-control-hacerlo-gobierno-pedir-sitio-_0_Rz43QLLyAS.html">declaration of state of emergency</a>.

He hasn't been charged for any crime yet.

This very sunday the 2023 Argentine primary elections took place. Javier Milei (the most right-wing candidate, other than César Biondini) had an excellent election, despite all forecasts. Of course, intellectuals did not like this result. This comic lampoons overschooled intellectuals that complain about election results they don't like, criticizing the people for voting the wrong way and that, with proper education, they would have chosen the right option.

* "Fucol" is a deliberate misspelling of, and a reference to <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michel_Foucault">Michel Foucault</a>, a French philosopher.
* <a href="https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jorge_Alem%C3%A1n">Jorge Alemán</a> is an Argentine left-leaning psychoanalist.
* <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacques_Derrida">Jacques Derrida</a> is an Algerian-born French philosopher, mostly known for developing the concept of deconstruction.
* "Darío Zeta" is a reference to <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dar%C3%ADo_Sztajnszrajber">Darío Sztajnszrajber</a>, an Argentine left-leaning philosopher. His more well-known brother is <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mauro_Szeta">Mauro Szeta</a> (he uses a nickname), a journalist specialized in police events, hence the "Zeta" in this comic.

I will think of the face of Facundo Morales for several days

Facundo Molares was an <a href="https://www.infobae.com/sociedad/policiales/2023/08/10/quien-era-facundo-molares-el-hombre-que-murio-tras-los-incidentes-en-el-obelisco/">Argentine photojournalist and leftist activist</a>. During the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1998%E2%80%932002_Argentine_great_depression">2001 crisis</a>, he migrated to Colombia, where he joined the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revolutionary_Armed_Forces_of_Colombia">Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia</a>. His activities there earned jail time until July of the previous year.
On August 10, 2023, he was protesting at the Obelisk of Buenos Aires (which involved a street closure). Once the police came to neutralize the protest after there was an attempt to burn something. Detentions were made, and Molares was one of the people to be sent to the police station. <a href="https://www.lanacion.com.ar/sociedad/corte-total-en-elobelisco-internaron-a-una-persona-que-se-descompenso-en-una-marcha-en-corrientes-y-nid10082023/">Molares suffered a decompensation</a>, and ended up <a href="https://www.lanacion.com.ar/seguridad/exmiembro-de-las-farc-y-fotorreportero-quien-era-facundo-molares-schoenfeld-el-hombre-que-murio-en-nid10082023/">dying of a heart attack after several revival attempts</a>.
The circumstances around his death were highly controversial, especially considering that this Sunday there are presidential elections. The previous murder of Morena Domínguez, a 11 year old girl that died after being stabbed by criminals in order to steal her backpack, was also very controversial.
One of the acts of solidarity towards Molares was this tweet. Given that she wrongly spells his surname as (the more common) Mo<b>r</b>a<b>l</b>es, people pointed out that this is likely empty virtue signalling.
