U.S. Citizens living abroad are required by law to pay taxes, meaning the U.S government must keep records of when those citizens die. These records must by necessity be as accurate as possible. A corpse cannot be taxed. Despite these incontrovertible facts, discord groomers and spineless muckrakers will continue to insist that the most powerful and efficient tax collecting organization in the world just had a big ole whoopsie-doodle and missed the death of one of its taxpayers.
