Entering Snapshot Mode on a specific frame of the animation will make them clip all the way in and give him blank zombie eyes. Normally, Mario's irises are flush with his sclerae, as they would be in real humans in real life. However, when Mario shudders after falling from a great height, his irises briefly detach.
