@Popper

Thoughts on the moral dilemna?

Yes, you have a choice

1: You can continue getting your jimmies rustled every time you see something you like getting sexualized/sensualized for the rest of your life because…and I promise you… for as long as you will live you never escape that kind of stuff. Ever.

OR

2. You can be mature and accept the fact that these things exist but know in your heart that it implies nothing towards you or the things you like personally and doesn't make you a worse person whether you like it or hate it.

Know that the non-canonical things that other people make of the things you like can be easily ignored and/or laughed off if you don't like it. They don't change anything about you (or Chrysalis).

But if you actually liked that sexy anthro art of chrysalis, hey guess what. That's normal. That's the feeling that the art was intended to provoke. Nobody here is going to judge you for that and it doesn't make you a worse person than anyone else. I say roll with it.

Stop changing your icon. It makes you hard to follow.

@Cite:

Pleasedon'tleavepleasedon'tleavepleasdon'tleave!!!!

Quick, before he gets away, use the Master Ball!

Ahem… Anyways…

@BSoD:

I concur. If you have an emotion, run with it. That Chrysalis anthro crap is supposed to try to illicit emotion, so it's not a problem in any sense of the word.

What is a problem is if you let yourself get confused, upset, or rustled about it.

I don't let the Molestia deal rustle me, and it's… somewhat damaging to my psyche… A bit…

SO! HOW ABOUT THAT BASEBALL!

Explosive Lasers:

SO! HOW ABOUT THAT BASEBALL!

K.

Guyz, after about three seconds of looking, I've determined that Lasers and Muffinator are either clones or are the same user. I really can't tell them apart.

@Cite
I was Unknown Unknown when you left, but that's not the point. The point was we were on the same end of the barrel when you left. Difference was, I came back; you didn't.
Come on, we've been good in your absence. The only time I can think when it was a real arguement (if you could even call it that) and semi-negbombs was an insignifcant arguement between me and Pyro (which indeed was simply more of a game that went serious). That didn't last very long at all, and we got over it pretty quickly.
It's time for your welcomed return.

Accept?

@BSoD & Explosive Lasers
Thank you both.
Yeah, I wasn't getting mad at it (there was no real reason to). But my problem was that I think I was getting too tolerable of it (to the point where I think I was actually starting to (and probably still do) like it!). I know its normal but it feels…weird.

@Explosive Lasers
Baseball?
Yankees beat the Royals twice in a two day period. They're running 23-21 so far.

@pooperfet
Its your hormones bro, the only way to get rid of those feelings is castration. I had these feelings( about women mind you, but same shit) when I started puberty as do all kids, it's normal. But might I say that verbose totally called that, you like her sexually! Just kidding…. Or am I?

@ explosive lasers
I find it creepy because these guys are shut-in introverted teens and twenty something's, I would find it creepy for them to just take in a kid and raise it. I consider the ponies to be the same in this case. Im not trying to be harsh, but would you be ok letting any of these goobers take care of child?

Didn't think so.The story would be less unsettling for me had it been about a Widower dealing with the loss of his family when all of a sudden, rainbow dash or some shit like that. It would be pretty touching I'm sure, but that's not what the author wanted nor what bronies want. They want a character they can relate to and that's what puts me off. But that's just my opinion.

@dac
Mind you, IRL, I've been friendzoned by a girl I knew. It was for the best, though.We are better off as friends (I seem to have a lot of female friends, but lacking in girlfriends). Just as well, I'm prone to human attraction, too. Chrysallis is a different story, though, for the Mandalorian.
Ah, the internet. Where IRL doesn't matter… too much.
And please spell my name correctly, next time.

.
Oh and for "sexually" attracted.

I've come to terms with it. I can't deny its there. But I can try not to focus too much on it.

@Dac

These guys don't really look like they couldn't handle it, if we're just going off appearances. And the ones in the foreground that I blurred out are just excitable, maybe they're not as crazy as they look. I probably look like that at parties sometimes…
As for those Fluttershy IRL pictures, I think they're completely adorable. I've never read My Little Dashie, but I haven't been motivated to because it sounded like a bunch of OOC stuff for the most part. I'm honestly a little baffled by the mushy ways so many fans portray Rainbow Dash.

Edit: This post needs more pony. Here's some geeky-looking Wild Fire.

And a comic.

Tara Strong was at ECCC2012 and she and Billy West (Fry from Futurama), Maurice LaMarche (Brain from Pinkie and the Brain), John DiMaggio (Bender from Futurama), Kevin Conroy (Batman), Jess Harnell (Wakko from Animaniacs) and Rob Paulsen (Pinkie from Pinkie and the brain) did a reading of Star Wars: A New Hope as their characters.

Tara does twilight sparkle twice: Once as only one line as Luke's Aunt (Scene is at 0:25:40 ) and a far longer more entertaining version as Han Solo in the Cantina scene (0:58:39).

I really suggest watching the whole thing, it's funny as fuck. If you only have to see one non-pony scene, please let it be this one: 0:49:30 (Obiwan is Porky Pig, Luke is Kramer and Bender is the "These aren't the droids we're looking for" Stormtrooper) It's fucking hilarious.

Also, John Dimaggio does a mean Tracy Morgan.

@Bruelock

You're gonna read all of those? You are far more ambitious than I would be if I missed that many.

Hey Popper, got a thing for ya.
>Implying you wouldn't have seen it anyway

I've decided that bushwoolies are hilarious.

From a country station article. And it's positive. Granted, once your son gets involved with something, it becomes a little harder to hate the group, because then you hate him. But that hasn't stopped some people before, I'm sure.

Somewhat related, this is why nerds in St. Louis can't have nice things.

So who loves bronyfied picnics? I know I~dooooo!~♥

Join us all in cosplay or not for this crazy fun meetup and please bring yummy nommy snacks!

We will all be meeting up in Forest Park on Art Hill, the big fun super pretty hill right outside of the Stl Art Museum. Maybe we'll go to the zoo, maybe we'll go to the museum, maybe we'll go to the Loop, maybe we'll prance around being AWESOME (definitely that, at least), we can play the rest by ear…

So please bring friends and if your friends aren't bronies, cosplay of ANYTHING is super cool! Homestuck, anime, cartoons in general, anything you'd like! Let's just go crazy, get a couple funny looks from passersby and have the most fun EVER!

If the weather looks like it's gonna' be icky, we can always move the date. Please don't forget to invite ANYONE AND EVERYONE and please bring snacks and blankets!

Since there are fountains there (and though it's frowned upon but still super fun) I encourage you all to bring swimsuits because honestly, if it's super pretty and fun outside, who doesn't wanna' splash around in a fountain with a bunch of fellow nerds? :D

Occasionally, I wonder if I'm waaaay too much of a brony, what with me wanting to discuss the universe and the interactions between the characters. Apparently, there are levels of brony beyond that of your average brony.

Cosplaying in Forest Park? And then going swimming in the fountains there? Guys, Forest Park on a Saturday in the summer at about that time will bring out a ton of people. However, if I can get my camera working, I should be able to get pictures of the cops coming to take them away.

Haha. A couple of funny looks…

What kind of fountains are we talking about here?

Ladies and gentlecolts, through tireless experimentation and research I present to all of you:
the perfect fanfic.

It's about a pony torn between two worlds. He fights for a cause he himself doesn't understand while on a philosophical journey to find his true self.

Lost Souls and Hidden Truths
It's still kind of a work in progress, so any recommendations would be most appreciated. Thanks!

Forest Park is pretty big with a lot of fountains, but they said they were going to meet in front of the art museum on the big hill. So my guess is that they meant these:

The museum being the building in the background.

Any innuendo was lost on me.

@Windigo

…

You misspelled "name." I couldn't read any further than that. I was overcome with feels.

Such beauty! Such passion! Such a nice mane!

I hope mine could ever be half as good as yours!

It's really something that the most positive criticism of this whole brony thing comes from a place you'd expect to be the least accepting and most judgemental. I, for one, am very happy to see that sort of acceptance.

I post stuff wrote:

I don't understand this picture but still, HNNNG.

Its a reference to the tumblr trolling of the tumblrpon blog "RaindropsAnswers." I don't know how, but it involved Raindrops being shipped with a baguette.

Even I, as a dedicated tumblrpon, still don't get it

Alright, a few things to say
First off, thank you BSoD, Explosive Lasers, and Dac for your two cents last night on my… dilemma.
"To want or not to want; that is the question."
It's gotten past me…but I still feel a bit weird. I was actually surprised Verbose didn't come out, slap me in the face, and tell me "I told you so!"
Ah, moving on.

@Windigo's fic

Of what am I reading?

@Verbose's article
That is some very good news. I would hope that everyone I met would be so accepting, but, unfortunately, that isn't the case.
Ah, well. We've got each other, and those who tolerate us. There are haters? So what? We'll just move along. There's haters for EVERYTHING.

@This strange bagette-loving pony…
I'm guessing she likes bagettes…and that's all I can conclude.

and more ticket… and more ticket… and more ticket…

Come to think of it, is ticket mentioned in any of the articles on this site? It seemed like kind of a forced thing to me at first but it seems to have caught on with people and you still see it here and there once and awhile.
