As for our final boss: Something haveing to do with Internet Censorship, so we haven't decided yet.

I knew i did some art for my character, but now i can't find it….

DAMN! Talk about getting shit done! I suppose I can do work on the boss's, encounters, plot twists and the like, if such a role is needed. I'm pretty good with that when I get on a roll.

Everyone with access to meetingwords should totally get on right now, since we're writing the script and all.

We only need battle crys, attack name call outs, and pre and post battle victory lines. So I guess we will be fine. Let's disscuss this again after we figure out KYM-Tan's attacks.

I just had an idea: maybe when my character dies and regenrates, he at first comes back…a bit…mad….and his skeleton starts glowing through his skin….. and cut to a miniboss fight where you have to knock down the newly regenerated me to make me sane.
But i had this awesome intro for the Crazed Me Scene:
Cameron staggers over to Natsuru after regenerating. Everyone's asking if he's ok, but he says nothing, just hanging his head….until….this big creepy grin crosses his face, and he leans over to whisper in Natsuru's ear:
"God Told Me To Eat You Alive"
And WHAM! All of the sudden, the intro of "One Winged Angel" plays, and he starts glowing, and everyone's like "Oh, shit…."

Allright, getting my Tech Demo plans together: The planned Tech Demo shall include:

-A fully working overworld section. This will include a Arena zone.
-All story important playable characters. This includes everyone that isn't an optional or temp character. (Early tech demos however, will mainly include KYM-Tan, Natsuru, Derpy, Suiseiseki, Kalmo, and Captain Badass.)
-A random encounter zone. We have still yet to decide on a Enemy lineup, but expect some mudkipz.
-A working arena. Here you have the option of fighting in a 10, 100, 1000 or OVER 9000!!1 man melee. These enemys will also include bosses and boss rejects.
-Several NPC's. Includeing a Fetch Quest. (The fetch quest will unlock all of the sidequest learned attacks)
-KYM Town will also be available to explore.

@Natsuru I just thought that the mech thing might be too unrelated. I found some sprites for it though.

I'm happy that I was able to spitball some ideas before my internet cut out, but it is good that progress is really being made now, in fact this calls for… A PARTY!

Well, we're already doing that. It's just that it's nice to have a time when people should at least try to be on once a week.

I have been drawing graphics and art for the game recently. However my lack of a plugged in scanner is the bane of me once again…

Once I get everything inked and photographed I will upload it.

It's a program that allows us to make and share folders on our computer that are updated automatically. It has a 2GB memory limit so we'll have to keep that in mind if we use it.

2GB's isn't that much, but I feel we could manage if we didn't include the actual game files or the cut scenes in it (which kind of defeats the point).

On a related notes:
-Does anyone know a online program similar to Meetingwords where we can ban people from the board? It might not be necessary as we have a full and trusted production team, but it would be good for security reasons.
-We also need a good online colab drawing board. Preferably one at least up to MS Paint standards. Scribble Links (or whatever it was called) was worse than the draw ball!

While I may not be a major member here, this certainly sounds interesting, and I may be willing to pitch in some if needed.
I'm fairly good at pixeling. But I excel at writing if a plot needs generated.

@Natsuru It should work well for containing sprites and other small things. I'm using it on another game project involving 3d models and it's worked well so far. Just no videos or hi-res images.

If you don't have your character profile done by the 6th your characters into will not be untill the 2nd or 3rd arc. Any character profile you have submitted thus far will be considered a final product at the deadline.

I'm actually writing the prologue today. If not today, tomorrow.

Backstory:

Suiseiseki is a rather enigmatic character. She seems to work as a mercenary type figure however, she has been known to assist researchers at times but the alliance is usually awkward and tends to last only until the goal has been achieved. For the most part she has acted out of public sight both during times of crisis and celebration. Few have ever seen let alone interacted with her. She has few allies but fewer enemies. In the past the ones who sought her out never found her or simply vanished without a trace. In the very rare occasions that she has been spotted she is always very verbose and has an odd way of speaking which can sounds very quick and repetitive. No one is aware of her origins or motives. She seems to like lurking in the darker regions of the internet.

Personality:

Generally neutral mood but quick to anger. Prefers to observe and destroy the enemy using psychological tactics. She never gives mercy if she is attacked first and has been known go on a rampage without logic or sanity when provoked enough. She speaks rarely but when she does her speech is always quick and laced with bizarre grammatical flaws (her spelling is always flawless however).

So can that means improve my story?

His family died since he was a child, so he live in his own at the hotel. Since he was high school, his very good at everything, musics, art, even fighting. He also good speaking at english. But his very quiet and some school girls really like him. But he discover KYM website. Until now, he is on the collage. But later, he was on the internet, suck on the other dimension and he found an evil spider eye that he cursed him.
Personality:
He was quiet character, and also cool. He is really genius too. This character is tough.

I have a quick idea, how about, when characters die, they pull off a Tron and "Derezz." Since the game takes place in the internet, I think that would be pretty fitting.

I say that it would at the very least make sense to have the troll be a trap, because that is a thing that trolls do. Anyways, there aren't really any other traps about yet, and to be honest not including them would be pretty silly.
