"Cuteness Overload!!!" LeBron James TikTok Comment or Cuteness Overload!!! Alright Bro refers to a viral TikTok spam comment and slang term, "Cuteness Overload!!!," that was popularized in late June 2023 after TikToker @.si254 posted it to a video about LeBron James and received the response "alright bro" from another user. The comment was screenshotted and gained viral spread, inspiring other TikTokers to spam it in the comment sections of videos. The phrase is often used ironically on videos that are perceived as cringeworthy. Alternate origins for the phrase have also been suggested, including a video by K-pop group Itzy in which they say the catchphrase. The phrase is unrelated to the Cuteness Overload reaction image.

On September 24th, 2020, YouTuber^[1] pedro lorenzo Estrera reposted a video of K-pop group Itzy lining up and saying "cuteness overload" one at a time, each girl imitating the girl who said the phrase before them, garnering over 1.5 million views in three years (shown below). It has been theorized by some, including TikToker^[2] @noahglenncarter, that this is the origin of the spam comment on TikTok, although this is unconfirmed.

Comment On LeBron James Video by @.i254

On May 15th, 2023, TikToker @.si254 posted a comment under an unknown video about LeBron James, writing, "Cuteness overload!!!" receiving the response of "alright bro" from user Mm. The comment thread was screenshotted and reposted by Instagram^[3] user cheebsitz on June 21st, garnering over 108,000 likes in three weeks (shown below). The meme was reposted by numerous accounts on sites including Instagram^[4] and iFunny^[5] over the following days.

TikTokers began to spam the comment "cuteness overload" in TikTok comment sections and in their videos throughout late June 2023. On June 26th, 2023, TikToker^[6] @si254, who was responsible for the original LeBron comment, posted a Looking Into the Dimension Where X meme captioned, "Me looking at an alternate universe where I never commented cuteness overload," garnering over 359,000 views in two weeks (shown below).

On July 2nd, TikToker^[7] @vexbolts posted a Fortnite video using the phrase over a clip of someone using a LeBron James skin, garnering over 400,000 views in nine days (shown below, left). On July 5th, TikToker^[8] @crazyjusticec posted a video using the phrase, garnering over 2.6 million views in six days. The TikToker^[9] has been posting videos using the phrase since 2022.

On July 7th, 2023, TikToker^[10] @lildemonrocks posted a video response to a user who left a "cuteness overload" comment under her previous video, garnering over 2.7 million views in four days (shown below).
