Dreaming Drooling Emoji is a drawing of a drooling horny emoji thinking about something, usually a body part such as the belly, surrounded by hearts. Posted on iFunny in December 2022, the image gained virality as a reaction on Twitter in May 2023.

Origin

On December 26th, 2022, iFunny^[1] user akaventelico posted an artwork of a drooling blushing emoji with a thought bubble reading "belly." The post (shown below) gained over 420 smiles in six months.

Spread

On January 4th, 2023, Twitter^[2] user @CHIEFKICKABITCH made two tweets in which they imagined going to a boys' school, using a cropped version of the image as a reaction. The tweet (shown below, left) gained 70 retweets and 420 likes in five months.

On May 12th, 2023, Twitter^[3] user @sH0rttyyyy posted a screenshot of the image, commenting, "I went to an all boys middle school and you could walk down the hallway and hear the f slur 20 times." The post (shown below, right) received over 800 retweets and 14,300 likes in one month.

In the following weeks, the cropped version of the image saw viral spread on Twitter and users captioned it with their sexual fantasies and fetishes. On May 22nd, 2023, Twitter^[4] user @Chewyquantum8 posted a screenshot of an exchange between two Twitter mutuals, one of whom accompanied their post with the image. The screenshot (shown below) gained over 1,000 retweets and 17,500 likes in two weeks.

On May 29th, 2023, Twitter^[5] user @AstroMonster312 shared the uncropped version of the artwork, with the tweet gaining over 550 retweets and 5,900 likes in four days.
