Between September 22nd and 23rd, 2025, TikToker^[1] @galaxy.leaks posted a series of images they claimed to be leaks from The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, set to release in 2026. Among those leaks are numerous images purported to show the character Rosalina and how she'll look in the film.^[2][3][4][5] The authenticity of the leaks was originally unconfirmed, and it was unclear where the TikToker got the images until a YouTuber took credit for faking them days later..

YouTuber DahJuanPa Takes Credit For Fake Leaks

On September 24th, 2025, YouTuber^[13] DahJuanPa posted a video claiming that he faked the leaks, garnering over 4,000 views in a day. In the video, he claims that he saw a fake rendering of Rosalina online then used AI to make other fake renderings that appear to be from The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.

Online Reactions

The leaks spread online over the following days as people questioned their authenticity.

On September 22nd, 2025, X^[6] user @mariominiondude posted one of the leaks, writing, "Is This Rosalina Real or Fake?", garnering over 2,500 likes in two days. On September 23rd, X^[7] user @janaenicooole posted some of the leaks, writing, "LMFAOOO THESE MARIO GALAXY LEAKS?!?" garnering over 7,300 likes in a day.

Later that day, X^[8] user @JoshuaTookes posted one of the leaks showing Rosalina frowning, writing, "OH MY GOSH," garnering over 36,000 likes in a day.

Also on September 22nd, X^[9] user @Zhane_Star posted side-by-side images of the grumpy Rosalina leak and another leak that appears to show Pauline, writing, "they look so cute when they make human expressions," garnering over 31,000 likes in a day.

On that day, X^[10] user @funnyhoohooman posted one of the leaks under the caption, "Rosa I’m watching your stream why are you trying not to laugh bruh," garnering over 5,800 likes in a day. The post references the iShowspeed Trying Not To Laugh meme.

Avovet3D Claims Then Denies 3D Rosalina Models

On September 23rd, 2025, X^[11] user @Avovet3D posted a work-in-progress 3D rendering of Rosalina making the same angry face as in one of the most popular leaks, writing, "not to spoil the fun but someone from a server I'm in just decided to leak my fan model lol," garnering over 34,000 likes in a day.

On September 24th, Avovet3D admitted to lying about the leaks being his in an X^[12] post, writing, "I lied to you all for the love of the game I sculpted this based on the leak it's probably real," sharing the finished 3D model, garnering over 6,400 likes in under a day.
