How Was The Sex?, continued Better Than X, is an exploitable meme and webcomic originally posted by Twitter / X artist @womanlozersimp in early 2023. The comic shows a woman in bed smoking a cigarette while her partner asks, "How was the sex?" to which the woman responds, "Better than a vibrator." Here, internet users typically insert a piece of popular media they enjoy in place of the word "vibrator" as a phrasal template, with some viral examples being Super Smash Bros, Street Fighter and Risk of Rain. Later iterations of the meme show people inserting a game or media franchise they don't like into the meme as well, including games like Dead by Daylight.
Origin
On February 16th, 2023, X[1] user and comic artist @womanlozersimp posted a comic showing two people in bed, with one person asking, "How was the sex?" while the other responded, "Better than a vibrator." The first person is then shown to look very happy at the response. The post gathered over 1,000 likes in a year.
The earliest known iteration of this webcomic as a meme was a March 4th, 2023, edit posted by X[2] user @BATTLE_ATHLETE, who inserted the Street Fighter logo into the comic in place of "vibrator." The post received over 1.6 million views and 12,000 likes in nearly two years.

On October 10th, 2024, X[3] user @oberssbm posted a version of the meme in which the woman says that the sex was better than Super Smash Brothers Melee, gathering over 79,000 likes in four days.
On October 9th, X[4] user @Cranesawman posted a version of the meme in which the woman says that the sex was better than "Absolute Doom," causing her partner to turn into Doctor Doom and call her a "fake Doomhead." The post gathered over 68,000 likes and kicked off a trend in which people insert their favorite lesser-known media references.
On October 11th, 2024, X[5] user @KingCyrusRodan posted a version of the meme that references Terraria, gathering over 84,000 likes on a meme that reads, "You was never a true terrorist to begin with."
