Jason Derulo's Bulge refers to discussion and trending hashtags surrounding American singer and dancer Jason Derulo's penis beginning in December 2019, when Instagram removed a photo of Derulo in revealing swim trunks and continued later in the month when Derulo claimed that Cats creators used CGI to remove his bulge.

Origin

On November 21st, 2019, Jason Derulo posted a photo of himself in swim trunks that had been removed from Instagram^[3] for being sexual in nature on December 4th (shown below, left).^[1] On December 6th, Jason Derulo re-uploaded the picture photoshopping a Subway sandwich over his bulge (shown below, right). The post garnered over 365,600 likes in 11 days.

Spread

On December 5th, 2019, TMZ^[2] posted a video in which reporters asked Derulo about the Instagram post (shown below). Derulo was candid about the photo and revealed that he was not fully aroused.

Within the next few days, many Twitter users began discussing Derulo's bulge. On December 6th, Twitter user @nadiaeweiss tweeted, "jason derulo getting his recent insta pic deleted by instagram because his bulge was too big is probably the biggest flex of the year" (shown below).

On December 16th, 2019, Jason Derulo was a guest on Andy Cohen's radio program and discussed his penis and the fact that it was taken out of the CATS movie (shown below).

The next day, Twitter users discussed the way in with Derulo talks about his penis suggesting it was boastful. Twitter user @AdamPrince8^[4] posted an image in which he mocks the way Derulo keeps mentioning his bulge (shown below). The tweet gained over 1,200 likes in a day.
