Joe Rogan and Friends Dancing or Joe Rogan Dancing is a TikTok dancing trend in which four clips of dancing taken from the Joe Rogan Experience podcast are used to create a meme similar to Me and the Boys. Starting in early 2024, the dancing has been combined with various audio and text to create variations of image macros across TikTok and YouTube.

Origin

On January 21st, 2024, the TikToker^[1] Astoner0508 uploaded a clip from the Joe Rogan Experience in which Joe Rogan and Joey 'Coco' Diaz are dancing and inhaling smelling salts. In the clip, the guest panel for the episode can be seen dancing to electronic music while passing a bottle of smelling salts around and dancing, with the TikTok getting over 1,000 likes in two months (shown below).

Spread

On January 27th, 2024, the YouTuber^[2] IGreenScreenThings uploaded a green-screen of dancing taken from the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, which was also uploaded on TikTok and CapCut the same day. On YouTube, the video was uploaded with audio from the song Confusion, with the description saying that it was purely a template for use on TikTok (shown below).

After the green screen template was uploaded, many more variations of the meme began to appear on TikTok. On February 2nd, 2024, the video template was used with Trap Music as a background sound in a series of TikToks in which the Me and the Boys format is replicated through the lens of working Night Shift. This can be seen in the TikToks^[3][4] uploaded by Patty_Meister and Alabama Shenanigans in which the videos are used to convey a sense of goofing off or having fun while at work (shown below, left and right).
