Origin
On November 30th, 2021, the Redditor u/RealTigres[1] uploaded a my child will X meme with Satan saying that his child would show license and registration, while Jesus has a picture of a gun in his speech bubble. This was uploaded to the subreddit /r/terriblefacebookmemes, with the original Facebook post deleted (shown below).

The meme continued to grow in usage, hitting a high point in mid-2022 as it successfully transferred over to TikTok and became used alongside the song Mississippi Queen. An example of this was uploaded to TikTok on November 22nd, 2022 by the TikTok[2] user @sirfredricksonthe4th, who pulls out a BB gun as a reaction to the statement (shown below).

As the meme continued to spread, the original intent of pulling out a gun instead of your license and registration fell away, with many people uploading TikToks of them aggressively reaching for a gun, but pulling out a wallet instead, to give the cop their license and registration fast. This is best seen in the TikTok uploaded on January 18th, 2023, by the TikTok[3] user @rosereddwrx, gaining over 700 likes in one month (shown below).
