Little Caesar’s Taste So Good When U Ain’t Got A Bitch In Ya Ear Telling You It’s Nasty refers to a viral Facebook post from late 2020 of a guy named Zepp Charles eating pizza in his car unbothered by someone telling him that it's nasty. A screenshot of the post spread to Instagram and Twitter, among other platforms, where it became an exploitable and a phrasal template, mostly following, "X Is So Good When You Ain't Got X In Ya Ear Telling You X."
Origin
On September 27th, 2020, Facebook[1] user Zepp Charles posted a photo of him eating a slice of pizza in his car, captioning it, "Little Caesar’s taste so good when u ain’t got a bitch in ya ear telling you it’s nasty." Over the course of two years, the post received roughly 19,000 reactions and 85,000 shares (shown below).
Spread
On October 9th, 2020, Instagram[2] page bonkers4memes posted a screenshot of Charles' Facebook post, earning roughly 13,800 likes over the course of two years. Later on the same day, the Instagram[3] page douggiehouse reposted the screenshot, earning roughly 36,000 likes in the same amount of time. In the days following, similar reposts were made to Tumblr [4] and iFunny, [5] among other platforms.
On December 16th, 2020, the Instagram[6] page protard.mp3 replaced the text in the screenshot to read, "Cyberpunk 2077 so good when u ain't got a bitch in ya ear telling you it's Glitchy." The meme earned roughly 3,400 likes over the course of a year and a half (shown below, left). On December 24th, 2020, iFunnyer[7] TankMagnus replaced the text to read, "The polar express ice scene so good when u ain't got a bitch in ya ear telling you it's Unrealistic," earning roughly 30,200 smiles in the same amount of time (shown below, right).
Going into 2021, Zepp Charles started to lean into his meme notoriety. For instance, on June 11th, 2021, he posted a meme[8] that captioned an image of him standing with the Little Caesar's mascot, earning 12 reactions in 11 months (shown below).
By late 2021, the catchphrase started to appear as its own reference outside of Charles' selfie. For instance, on September 25th, 2021, the Instagram[9] page 2.718281828459045235360287420 wrote the phrase on the back of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's dress worn at the 2021 MET Gala, earning roughly 49,700 likes over the course of eight months (shown below, left).
Additionally, the phrase became its own phrasal template on Twitter going into early 2022. For instance, on September 6th, 2021, Twitter[10] user ch1w33th3d0g tweeted a photo of a grilled cheese with the caption, "a regular old grilled cheese made with kraft american cheese tastes so good when you don’t have a mf in ur ear telling you it’s fake cheese," earning roughly 58,100 likes over the course of eight months (shown below, right).
