About

Nashe, also known as Que Significa "Nashe?" in Spanish, refers to a slang term created by the Argentinian streamer Coscu, who invented it during one of his broadcasts. "Nashe" means something that is very strong and is also used as an expression for when something good happens. Remixes of “nashe” have emerged on TikTok in 2021, some of which mash up the song “And To Those I Love, Thanks For Sticking Around” by $uicideBoy$.

Origin

The expression "Nashe" was created by the streamer Coscu[1], also known as Martín Pérez Disalvo, primarily as an eSports player and singer. He's used the term since 2016 when he began streaming League Of Legends and other content on Twitch. According to Coscu,[2] "Nashe" means "a positive expression to refer to something important." In 2020, the Argentinian streamer became more popular and fans started to post videos of him saying "nashe" during his livestreams. For example, on September 17th, 2020, the YouTube channel Recopilaciónes PS[3] uploaded a compilation video of moments Coscu said the word. The video has garnered 466,891 views and 11,000 likes in two years (seen below).
