Democracy Manifest or Succulent Chinese Meal refers to a clip of petty criminal Cecil George Edwards being wrongfully arrested in Sydney, Australia. While the police attempt to put him into a car, Edwards gives an impassioned speech with an eloquent accent, calling the arrest "Democracy Manifest" and complaining that a policeman has grabbed his penis.

On January 12th, 2009, YouTuber Russell Furman posted the clip of Edwards being arrested under the title "Democracy Manifest," gaining over 1.1 million views in ten years (shown below).
