On May 9, 2010, Don started a Tumblr account DonCald, strongly associated with memes.[9] Don Caldwell created about 2 600 entries starting from Fucking Magnets, How Do They Work?, uploaded in April 9, 2010.[1] He submitted over 4 900 videos and around 17 000 images.[2] [3] On 23 December, 2012 he was on NPR's Weekend Edition with Rachel Martin discussing about 2012 memes.[4] [5] On February 1, 2015, Don created Twitch account which gained 100 views and 8 followers in 3 days. [10]

Reputation

Don got positive reception as a Know Your Meme editor, however he is known for promoting and writing articles about forced memes. His Most popular entries are Yao Ming Face / Bitch Please which has around 5 mln views, Neil deGrasse Tyson Reaction – around 4,5 mln views and Bad Luck Brian – around 2,5 mln views. In 2014 a /don/ board was created on 8chan by Know Your Meme and Don's fans.[6] memedon account was running on Tumblr, which Don claims to be false.[11] It has been deleted afterwards.
