History

Gus Johnson was born in 1995 and resides in Grantsburg, Wisconsin.[1] He launched his YouTube account on September 11th, 2010. His first video was uploaded that day, gaining over 13,000 views (shown below).



Johnson began uploading more regularly to YouTube in 2015. On March 23rd, 2015, he uploaded a video of himself drumming to the theme from Indiana Jones, gaining over 315,000 views (shown below, left). One of his most popular early videos featured him throwing sand at bees, gaining over 221,000 views (shown below, right).




To date, his most popular videos are a video of him acting like a cat at 3 AM, which gained over 3.9 million views (shown below, left), and a video of him spoofing a Spotify ad that gained over 3.4 million views (shown below, right).
