About

Jynxzi or Junko, real name Nicholas Stewart, is an American YouTuber, gamer and Twitch streamer who resides in Florida. He is best known for Rainbow Six Siege and Fortnite streams but also for notable memes such as Light Work, No Reaction. The creator started his career in early 2020 and currently has a podcast show in which he interviews other prominent streamers.

Background

According to Jynxzi's Wikitubia[1] page, the creator began to develop an audience online on January 19th, 2020, beginning on YouTube.[2] He began publishing content related to the tactical shooter video game Rainbow Six: Siege, as his earliest video available, titled "JYNXZI RAGE COMPILATION #1," shows the streamer enraged while playing the game (shown below), which amassed over 228,000 views and 5,100 likes in four years.

On February 18th, 2024, Jynxzi won the "Gamer of The Year" and "Best Breakthrough Streamer" awards during the 2024 Streamer Awards.[6] On the same day, the fan account @junko_clips[7] uploaded the streamer's reaction to winning the awards (shown below), amassing more than 4,400 views and 80 likes in a month.

As of March 18th, 2024, Jynxzi reached 5 million followers on Twitch,[3] over 3 million subscribers on YouTube[4] and more than 6 million followers on TikTok.[5]

Jynxzi Podcast

In February 2024 Jynxzi started his podcast[10] show, called Jynxzi Podcast, dedicated to interviewing other prominent streamers and internet figures like Sneako, Cr1TiKaL and many more. The show's first guest was fellow streamer Caseoh, which aired[11] on February 18th, 2024, amassing over 2.6 million views and 163,000 likes in a month (seen below).

Light Work, No Reaction

Light Work, No Reaction is a catchphrase and audio sample from a Jynxi's stream in which he eats hot wings claiming that it's "light work" causing "no reaction," only to eventually have the spice hit him when he says, "Okay, it's got a little kick." The original video became a TikTok sound and trend in mid-2023, following a version of the audio that sped up and slowed down the words "light work, no reaction."
