Lilly Tino, real name Lilly Contino, is a trans advocate and social media influencer known for her content on transgender topics, including videos documenting her transition, comedy videos about being transgender and videos in which she documents herself being the victim of transphobia and misgendering in public. Tino began posting content in 2022 and grew a substantial following over the next few years, boasting over 500,000 followers between her Instagram and TikTok accounts as of mid-2025. In late May 2025, Tino became the subject of controversy after posting a video on TikTok in which she ranks all the women's washrooms in Disney World, which some saw as an invasion of privacy. The controversy inspired increased hate towards Tino, including theories that she only pretends to be trans for views and that she is a bad representation of transgender people. On June 7th, Ryan Ally set up the "Remove Lily Tino from TikTok" petition on Change.org to get Tino banned from TikTok, which gained over 207,000 signatures in a couple of days.

On January 18th, 2022, Lilly Tino posted two selfies to her Instagram^[1] page, Lillytino_, writing in the description, "Allow me to reintroduce myself! My name is Lilly and my pronouns are she/her. I am a proud trans woman 🥳🏳️‍⚧️," garnering over 400 likes in three years. This is the earliest available post by Tino.

On November 15th, 2022, Tino posted her first video to her TikTok^[2] page, @lillytino_, which consists of six photos showcasing Tino's transition over the months, garnering over 217,000 views in three years.

Some of Tino's most viral content on TikTok was uploaded between late 2022 and 2023 and shows her being misgendered and becoming the victim of transphobia in public.

For example, on March 9th, 2023, Tino posted a video on TikTok^[3] that shows her getting harassed by a woman who calls herself a "TERF" while at a restaurant, garnering over 17 million views in two years.

On July 5th, she posted a video to TikTok^[4] in which she uses coded lingo to talk about the details of her transition, garnering over 12 million views in two years.

On October 30th, 2023, she posted a compilation video of herself on TikTok^[5] being misgendered in various restaurants and public settings, garnering over 39 million views in two years.

This continued to be some of her most popular content in 2025. On May 22nd, 2025, she posted a video to TikTok^[6] in which she is misgendered while being served at Disney World. In the video, she sends her food back after the misgendering. The video gained over 14 million views in three weeks.

Ranking Every Women's Bathroom at Disney World

On June 2nd, 2025, Tino posted a series of photos on TikTok^[7] and Instagram^[8] in which she ranks all of the bathrooms at Disney World. Each photo is a selfie taken in the different bathrooms. Some have other people in the background. The post gained over 10 million views on the former and 5,200 likes on the latter in a week.

2025 Controversy / Remove Lily Tino from TikTok Petition

Throughout 2025, Tino became the subject of increased controversy and backlash online. Some people began making posts and videos suggesting Tino is faking being transgender for clicks, that her videos are rage bait and that she goes out in public trying to be misgendered for the sake of her videos.

For example, on February 26th, 2025, TikToker^[9] @strang3mister posted a video parodying Tino's "misgendered in public" videos, garnering over 7 million views in four months.

On May 26th, TikToker^[10] @moriahmorgan21 posted a covertly-captured video of Tino walking around Disney World, captioned, "Lily Tino at Disney waiting to be misgendered," garnering over 12 million views in two weeks.

On May 27th, 2025, X^[11] user @thisissavvy1 reposted the video, writing, "I am not one to post stuff like this, but that’s Lily Tino. When we say you can't hide your sex, this is what we mean," garnering over 7,300 likes in two weeks.

On June 6th, X^[12] user @thepeaklady reposted a now-deleted video of a TikTok by someone who claims to be in the background of one of the bathroom photos from the "Ranking Every Women's Bathroom at Disney World" video, claiming she's weighing her legal options, garnering over 31,000 likes in three days. It is unconfirmed if this person was actually in the photo.

On June 7th, 2025, Ryan Ally started a petition on Change.org^[13] to get Lilly Tino banned from TikTok. The petition, titled "Remove Lily Tino from TikTok," garnered over 200,000 signatures in two days and reads:
