About

Thedvrko, also known as The Dvrko or YOUNES, is a French-Moroccan TikToker, Instagram user and social media influencer known for his viral videos in which he's performing stunts, dances and physical comedy in public settings with high energy. He's most known for his aerial spin kick. Thedvrko has curly hair and is often seen in a suit or leather motorcycle jacket. In 2024, Thedvrko's videos were reposted en masse to Twitter / X where users compared him to a horse or said he had "henchman vibes." Users attested to the strong, chaotic emotions emitted by Thedvrko's videos, saying they were full of life. In turn, users started posting Thedvrko's videos with funny captions.

Online History

On August 28th, 2016, Thedvrko posted for the first time on Instagram.[1] On June 21st, 2019, he posted his first TikTok[2] video, showing himself in Paris in front of the Eiffel Tower doing a "540 kick," gaining over 344,100 plays and 54,900 likes in five years (shown below, left).

In 2021, his TikTok videos received increased engagement, consistently earning over 100,000 plays each with some reaching multi-million play numbers. For instance, on May 21st, 2021, he posted a TikTok[3] that reached over 14.1 million plays and 1.4 million likes in three years (shown below, right).

On November 24th, 2019, Thedvarko launched his YouTube[12] channel with a video called "JOKER REAL LIFE IN PARIS (JOAQUIN PHOENIX) CRAZY PUBLIC REACTION – JOKER 2019," receiving over 13,400 views in five years (shown below).



Going into the 2020s, his videos continued to amass viral engagement as his video style of public pranks, stunts and antics solidified. For instance, on December 22nd, 2023, he posted a TikTok[4] of himself running through a crowd, gaining over 15 million plays and 2 million likes in five months (shown below, left).

On December 23rd, he posted a similar TikTok[5] of himself doing a spin kick at a party and screaming. Over five months, the video received roughly 9 million plays and 712,300 likes (shown below, right).

By May 22nd, 2024, Thedvrko had amassed over 1.6 million followers on Instagram,[13] over 5.6 million followers on TikTok,[14] and over 21,200 subscribers on YouTube.[15]

Spread

In 2024, Thedvrko's TikTok videos notably spread to X, like on March 22nd, 2024, X[6] user @roramdin reposted one of his December 2023 TikToks,[5] writing, "Entranced by this guy," gaining over 4.4 million views and 19,000 likes in two months (shown below).


On March 23rd, X[7] user @0pvlent tweeted a different Thedvrko video, writing, "need him at my next party idk," earning over 14,000 likes in two months (shown below).


Viral X[8][9] posts using Thedvrko's videos persisted in May 2024.

Henchman Jokes

On May 18th, 2024, X[10] user @jorgertg98 quoted a viral tweet[9] about Thedvrko (reading "i think he has captured the essence of what it means to be human") adding, "I often see a lot of comic readers say things like 'who'd join Joker's/Riddler's… gang?' This guy. This guy would, he was born to paint his face with his boss' colors, he's a born henchman." The quote received over 93,000 likes in four days (shown below). The statement is similar to the precursor Goonposting trend about "goons," as in, "henchmen" in Batman comic books.

Others built on the idea soon after, like X[11] user @NobleQAli on May 21st, 2024, who posted a video of Thedvrko and another video of Stas Baretsky, captioned, "Need a movie about these two henchmen whose bosses died in a tragic plane crash, and are road tripping together to the funeral," earning over 40,000 likes in a day (shown below).
