About

Uh, Meow? is a quote from the Sonic the Hedgehog trailer. In the trailer, when Sonic is discovered by James Marsden's character, he attempts to pretend to be a cat before the two characters scream at each other. The moment became one of the most infamous scenes in the trailer, and was mocked in viral clips of audiences seeing the trailer ahead of Pokémon Detective Pikachu and remixed online.

Origin

On April 30th, 2019, the first trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog was released. In the trailer, Sonic and James Marsden's character meet, and Sonic attempts to act like a cat by saying "Uh… meow?" before the two characters scream at each other.
