We Have Come For Your Nectar refers to a phrase said by multiple red-cheeked and high-waisted SpongeBob Squarepants' that resemble bees, also known as SpongeBees, SpongeSwarm, or, FlyBobs, hovering and annoying Squidward Tentacles, making him say, "Get the fuck out of my house!" The trend became notable on Instagram and iFunny in mid-2022 amid ironic memes, absurd memes and voiceover videos.

Origin

On May 6th, 2022, Instagram[1] user absolutenutcase162 posted an ironic and absurd SpongeBob meme that used screencaps of a dorky SpongeBob with high-waisted underpants and red cheeks and Squidward yelling 'Get Out Of My House' alongside multiple flying SpongeBob bees floating in a clip-art room saying, "We have come for your nectar." In the bottom caption, Squidward is yelling back in Impact font, "Get The Fuck Out Of My House." Over the course of a month and a half, the meme received over 985 likes (shown below).

On May 13th, 2022, YouTuber Memetastic posted a voiceover video of absolutenutcase162's meme, earning roughly 20,200 views over the course of one month (shown below, left). The aforementioned video inspired YouTuber No, You Are! to upload a variant on May 15th, 2022, earning roughly 1,400 views in one month (shown below, right).

As more reposts of the original meme and Memetastic's voiceover started to circulate social media, Instagram[2] user absolutenutcase162 reposted the voiceover video on June 4th, 2022, earning roughly 7,100 views and 1,500 likes in two and half weeks. On June 12th, 2022, Instagram[3] user absolutenutcase162 posted a follow-up meme reading, "Free Nectar," earning roughly 2,400 likes in one week (shown below).

On June 13th, 2022, iFunnyer[4] Ioquat reposted absolutenutcase162's original meme, earning over 595 smiles in eight days. The repost inspired multiple "Nectar" memes and videos to surface on iFunny going into the week following. For instance, on June 18th, 2022, iFunnyer[5] Sunbirth posted a new video of the "FlyBobs" buzzing around burgers, earning roughly 1,700 smiles in three days (shown below).
