They started going after how corrupt IGF and Indiecade is and they disappeared for months because they were fighting s--- with lawyers I doubt TR has the resources to do that. IGF, UBM, Silverstring, that whole clique, they're all giant bullies who basically censor silence, and threaten anyone who exposes their deeds. I wouldn't blame TR too much for their stance. They went after IGF, caused a s--- storm, and I have no doubt in my mind that IGF lawyers swarmed them and told them to never do that again and never support gamergate again, or theyre getting sued and SLAPPED hardcore. As far as people being implicated with IGF and then disappearing. We have Phil Fish who was implicated heavily in this stuff and he completely disappeared We have Cameralady and ShortFatOtaku who were bringing things to light and had to disappear for a long while. After they lawyered up and fought things, they still decided to leave IGF alone, even though they have an extremely strong case that IGF and indiecade are not trustworthy organizations And now TR runs a piece against IGF and now they suddenly change their minds about things? This is the final boss of gamergate. IGF, indiecade, UBM, Silverstring, etc. The entire cabal is full of SJWs who want to control videdo games. But not through the media, but by rigging competitions and establishing themselves as a sort of gatekeeper to promote people they believe should have privileges granted to them via their own authority. Prime example of this is IGF telling Super Meat Boy they aren't going to win anything because they dont need the publicity or money because they believe their game is good enough lGF is a platform for an elite clique to try and levitate mediocre games that fit their ideals. And I know for a fact people from Silverstring, IGF, etc lurk the f--- out of /gamergate/ and shill it like f------ crazy. Guaranteed you're going to see some sort of b------- FUD against this post saying this is a terrible idea. Probably "but it's not games journalism!" or something

X Journalists would make claims of people like Anita Sarkeesian "playing video games all her life" when she openly admitted many times she is not a gamer and only starter recently (when it wasn't for an interview). Various developers trading sex or money for good reviews got exposed, journalists who accepted got exposed. People became a bit more critical about supporting a game just because the developer has a victim complex stating tat their game could have only failed because of sexism, instead of their own poor developing skills. What really sealed the deal was opposition often faking their own harassment. Anita sarkeesian and Zoe Quinn have been caught multiple times screenshotting "harassment" while showing that the harrasser's account name in the login. Or when someone called the police to help Sarkeesian against a "very real threat" she was posting about, only for police to find the harasser's messages were coming from her IP address.
