Ok Now Type "Kill Yourself Loser" or Ok Now Type "KYS Loser" refers to a series of memes, including redraws, depicting two characters at a computer, one typing and the other urging the typist to write, "KYS loser" to someone online. The original meme, which shows two kittens at a computer, was posted to Twitter in August 2022 and became the subject of redraws in the following months, often photoshopping the kittens or replacing them with characters from various fandoms. Origin

On August 8th, 2022, Twitter^[1] user @literallymecats posted an image macro showing two cats at a computer, one typing and one standing behind the typist. The meme is captioned, "ok ok now type 'kill yourself loser.'" The post gained over 8,100 likes in eight months.

Spread

The meme gained viral spread over the following months as people began redrawing it and making new variants. On August 17th, 2022, Twitter^[2] user @saltiecattos posted an image from The Owl House writing, "'oo! oo! now write ‘kys’!!!'" garnering over 5,300 likes in eight months. On September 10th, Twitter^[3] user @notnaruse posted a piece of Deltarune fan art redrawing the meme, garnering over 3,400 likes in seven months (shown below).

On October 14th, Tumblr^[4] user slaughterfreak posted a similar version of the meme referencing Deltarune, garnering over 2,500 notes in six months. On December 15th, Redditor Idesignrealducks posted a similar meme to /r/OMORI^[5] referencing the game Omori, garnering over 4,000 upvotes in four months (shown below, left). On December 28th, Twitter^[6] user @goobysart posted a redraw that gained over 11,000 likes in the same rough span of time (shown below, right).
