The meme was coined on September 12th, 2023, by TikToker @notmr.bigchops69, who stitched a video responding to TikToker @hothighpriestess where, after she begins reciting affirmations, he interrupts with a long stretch of Gen Z and Gen Alpha slang terms and references, garnering over 6 million views in a month (shown below).

How 'Level 5 Gyatt Rizz' Became A Copypasta Meme?

A month after the original post was uploaded on TikTok, in September 2023, TikToker @user_092848293 posted a version of the original video with the added caption, "Mum: 'Go talk to your little cousin.' My little cousin:" using the phrase to portray a typical child, garnering over 12 million views and the original sound for @user_092848293's video was used over 500 times over the next three months (shown below, left). For example, on September 27th, TikToker @nmillz1 posted a video that gained over 449,000 views in three weeks (shown below, right).
