Among Us Dies On Squid Game Glass Bridge refers to a viral animation of an Among Us crewmate saying "among us" multiple times as if giving a monologue then throwing itself off of a glass bridge made to look like the glass bridge from Squid Game. The clip comes from an animation by ZAMination where characters from games including Friday Night Funkin' and Five Nights At Freddy's among others play Squid Game's glass bridge game together. It became the subject of ironic amogus style edits shortly after being uploaded in November 2021.

Origin

On November 13th, 2021, YouTuber^[1] and animator ZAMination posted a half-hour long animation where characters from games including Among Us, Friday Night Funkin', FNAF, Bendy and the Ink Machine and more compete in Squid Game's glass bridge game, which has players jump across a glass bridge hoping it doesn't break. In the opening scene, Friday Night Funkin's Boyfriend character says "this one's for Drake" and jumps off the bridge to his death, followed by an Among Us crewmate standing over the bridge and monologuing in a language that consists only of the words "among us." He then throws himself off the bridge and dies (shown below). The video gained over 4.1 million views in a month.

On November 14th, 2021, YouTuber^[2] aflac uploaded an isolated clip of the crewmate dying titled "amogus" gaining over 443,000 views in a month. On November 16th, YouTuber^[3] Akweard yt posted a video titled "this ones for you drake" consisting of the scene with an added reverberating fart sound effect as the crewmate dies, gaining over 3.5 million views in roughly a month (shown below).

On November 22nd, YouTuber^[4] zootins posted a version of the clip placing a shattering glass sound effect from the "Oh No! Our Table!" video over the crewmate's death, gaining over 1.1 million views in just under a month (shown below).

On December 5th, YouTuber^[5] animaxx animations created a purposefully crude animation recreating the scene, gaining over 185,000 views in two weeks (shown below, left). On December 7th, YouTuber^[6] coolmasterishaan playz posted a version offering a potential translation for the crewmate's monologue, gaining over 1,100 views in two weeks (shown below, right).
