Origin

On September 3rd, 2023, X[1] user @IrishConservNat posted a pseudo-greentext meme about Hans-Adam II, the Prince of Lichtenstein, vetoing laws trying to legalize abortion. The post (shown below) received over 900 reposts and 10,500 likes in two days (shown below).

On September 4th, 2023, X[2] user @GothardOnExile reused the format for a similarly-structured humorous post about Wilfried Martens, the former Prime Minister of Belgium who helped pass the abortion law in the country, which received over 420 reposts and 9,300 likes in one day (shown below).
