Blackface KSI Labubu refers to a controversial viral video posted by TikToker The Jungle Pups (@lilzbullzofficial) in early August 2025, in which she's seen holding up a homemade Labubu toy meant to look like YouTuber KSI. However, the Labubu was altered to change its face and other elements, which many interpreted as blackface and a racist caricature. The TikToker was the British woman behind the viral 24 Karat Gold Labubu meme from July 2025. She received backlash across social media platforms like Twitter / X in the following days despite quickly deleting it shortly after the initial post.

Origin

On August 1st, 2025, TikToker The Jungle Pups (@lilzbullzofficial) posted a video of herself holding up a handmade Labubu toy, meant to look like YouTuber KSI. The doll has a black face and a red bandana outfit.

The TikToker deleted the video shortly after the upload, but it was quickly reposted across social media, like in a post from X^[1] user @g1bsongirl_ on August 1st, gaining over 1.3 million views and 21,000 likes in three days (shown below).

On August 1st, 2025, X^[2] user @itgirlkahei posted a screenshot of the KSI Labubu video, showing that it had been posted by @lilzbullzofficial 19 minutes earlier. The X user wrote, "Just watched her delete it in real time," gaining over 270,000 likes in three days (shown below).

On August 2nd, TikToker^[3] @e_mail.gmail.com posted a photo slideshow, beginning with a captioned image of the Blackface KSI Labubu video, reading, "24k gold Labubu girl had a fair run." Over two days, the post received roughly 331,600 likes (shown below).

Also on August 2nd, 2025, TikToker^[4] @alienhedgeh0g posted a video of themself "breaking the golden Labubu lady news" to a friend, who was seemingly shocked by the news. Over two days, the video gained over 1.4 million likes (shown below).

Response / Apology Video

On August 3rd, 2025, TikToker^[5] @lilzbullzofficial posted a video responding to the growing controversy about her KSI Labubu video. She claimed that she had never learned about Blackface in school. She further apologized for the video, saying that she did not intend for the video to be malicious. In a day, the video gained over 508,300 likes (shown below).
