Overview

The Harry Sisson Snapchat Manipulation Scandal refers to allegations that Democratic political commentator and influencer Harry Sisson messaged at least 11 women on Snapchat and purportedly manipulated them into sending him lewd videos and photos, first gaining their trust and respect before soliciting content from them. In March 2025, several of these women came forward and accused Sisson of manipulating them, sharing alleged screenshots of their interactions with Sisson. One of the victims was notably a survivor of domestic violence. During a livestream, Sisson also suggested that one of the accusers was "insane." As more women came forward, political content creator @americanahhannah, or Hannah, came forward with screenshots alleging that Sisson covered up for a man he worked with named Camil, who was inappropriately messaging an autistic minor on Discord. The accusations against Sisson inspired discourse and memes online, including memes joking that Sisson faked the DMs to make people believe he's straight, referencing a common joke among his fans that he's in the closet.

Harry Sisson

Harry Sisson is a liberal, Democratic social media influencer and content creator known for his political news and opinion content, primarily on TikTok. He is associated with other young leftist political influencers like Dean Withers. Sisson garnered a significant online following during the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election, during which he supported former President Joe Biden.

Sisson has been the subject of controversy before, garnering backlash in November 2024 after it was alleged that he was being paid by the DNC to support the Democrats, something that Sisson had previously denied. These accusations were covered in detail that month by YouTuber^[1] Liberal Hivemind.

Carlee Hosch's Claims Of Manipulation

On March 2nd, 2025, Harry Sisson posted a video to his alternate TikTok^[1] account, @notharryjsisson, in which he lip dubs while laying in bed with a woman who is stroking his chin, garnering over 700,000 views in about two weeks.

On March 8th, 2025, TikToker^[2] @carleehosch posted a video in which she exposed an anonymous TikTok influencer for "playing" her for nine months. It would later come out that this influencer was allegedly Harry Sisson.

In the video, she explains that they started talking in May 2024 and he "wooed" her with his kindness. She claims she thought he respected her for more than her physical appearance until she found out he was playing her.

Carlee claims that within the first two or three months, he told her she was "wife material" and that he was regularly saving her Snaps and calling her "beautiful and gorgeous." Then, six months into talking, he said he wasn't looking for a long-term commitment. She says she understood that and agreed to keep it casual, but felt he led her on, which he agreed with. He told her several more times he didn't want a commitment, then posted a thirst trap with another girl, which she refers to as a "soft launch" of his new girlfriend.

Prior to this thirst trap, she says she found out he was messing with another girl when he went live on TikTok one night and showing hickeys on his neck. Carlee confronted him about it and he told her she was overreacting. She claims she was depressed at the time over a car accident and he knew that, but still took advantage of her sadness. She added that she was his only friend on Facebook. He allegedly demanded she remove everything from Snapchat out of respect for him.

Carlee then jumps to the night of March 7th, 2025, saying that on that night, she found out he was leading on another woman. Carlee DM'd the woman, who he saw commenting on his backup account and the woman told him they went through the same thing. She claims they spoke for six or seven hours exposing him. According to the other woman, the man told her he had "no roster," despite being on his roster. They exchanged screenshots of their DMs with Sisson.

Carlee calls him a "disgusting fuck boy" and explains that he asked for "extremely intimate" images from them while making them think they were the only girls he was talking to. In the description of the video, she claims there are now four women who are known to have been manipulated by him. The video gained over 29,000 views in 11 days.

On March 16th, 2025, Carlee posted another video to TikTok^[3] further talking about the anonymous influencer (Harry) who allegedly manipulated her on Snapchat, garnering over 88,000 views in three days.

On March 18th, Carlee released a third video on TikTok^[4] about the incident, this time sharing screenshots of Snaps and messages allegedly sent to her by Harry. In the screenshots, the name "Harry Sisson" is seen and the photos shown appear to show Sisson. In one message he assures her she's the only one he's talking to. In another, he denies lying to her about anything, claiming he was working within the parameters they set regarding messaging other women.

Developments

Statement During Chris Mowrey's TikTok Live Stream

On March 17th, 2025, TikToker^[14] @diddysisson posted a clip from a Chris Mowrey TikTok Live stream with Sisson. In the video, Mowrey speaks for Sisson. Mowrey claims that Sisson and a girl, likely addressing Carlee, started consensually sharing explicit content over Snapchat. Mowrey explains that the parameter set was that it was fun and they weren't exclusive.

Mowrey claims that Sisson and the woman never met in person, just talked over Facetime. Mowrey claims it's being blown out of proportion and Sisson agrees, with both agreeing that it was still a mistake to get into that situation. Mowrey claims that he and Sisson were both talking to the woman and both got lewd content from her, calling the framing by her "dishonest."

Further Allegations

The allegations by Carlee Hosch inspired other women to come forward with similar accusations against Sisson. On March 17th, 2025, TikToker^[5] @playmatesara, a domestic violence survivor, posted a video further exposing Sisson, claiming that she was the woman who talked with Carlee about Sisson.

In the video, Sara explains that she sent explicit photos to Sisson and had casual sexual interactions with Sisson. She confirms that he claimed to not have a roster of women he was talking to. She says her time talking to Sisson was "somewhat brief" but that her biggest disappointment was in supporting him as a fan, saying she really believed he was a man who cared for women for more than just their bodies. She says that she and Carlee had "pretty much the same experience" with Sisson, but that hers was more intimate and long-lasting.

Sara largely supports the claims made by Carlee throughout the video. She claims she told Sisson how disappointed she was upon learning that he was manipulating them, saying it "hurt" to know he was lying about the type of person he actually is online. She then says the reason she's making the video is because she feels it's important to hold people accountable.

On March 18th, 2025, X^[6] user @SarahisCensored started a thread collecting the DMs and explaining the allegations that garnered over 61,000 likes and 17,000 reposts in a day. The thread begins with a video of Sisson talking during a livestream with another creator, calling one of the accusers "insane."

The next video in the thread is the account of another accuser, @yagirldianamichelle, who posted a video to TikTok^[7] that day celebrating Carlee for calling Sisson out, giving props to her and explaining how "genuinely terrifying" it is to call someone with influence out, garnering over 10,000 views in a day.

The thread also shares individual screenshots of Carlee Hosch's alleged evidence against Sisson, including Snaps in which he compliments her and makes sexual remarks towards her.

Later on March 18th, 2025, TikToker^[8] @serenitydawnpolitics posted a video sharing her experiences with Sisson, garnering over 27,000 views in a day.

Americanahhannah's Allegations

Also on March 18th, 2025, TikToker^[9] @americanahhannah, another leftist political content creator who has long been associated with Sisson, posted a video further exposing Sisson in which she shares printed copies of DMs allegedly sent to her by Sisson further exposing him, garnering over 17,000 views in a day.

In her video, she claims that Sisson had a Discord server that included a member named Camil, who allegedly had messaged inappropriately with an autistic minor. She claims she told Sisson about this and he said he'd stop working from Camil, but he did not. Hannah was considering calling the police on Camil but Sisson advised her not to do this. She was later convinced into believing that Sisson stopped working with him. Sisson allegedly told Hannah he was making a "federal complaint" against Camil. He then asked her for nudes and unsent the message, something he did several times.

At the end of the video, she shares screenshots of threatening texts she got from Sisson. She then shares an audio message she received from Sisson in which he threatens to kill her if she talks about Camil.

Online Reactions

The allegations against Harry Sisson inspired online discourse and memes as they spread across social media. On March 18th, 2025, X^[10] user @akafaceUS reposted @americanahhannah's expose video on Sisson, garnering over 20,000 likes in a day.

That same day, X^[11] user @RichardRatBoy1 posted a meme reading, "Harry Sisson being called gay so many times that he starts harassing women," garnering over 20,000 likes in a day.

Also on March 18th, X^[12] user @grandoldmemes posted a C'mon Do Something meme in which a figure representing Sisson is seen poking two female Wojaks with a stick (Trad Wife and Daddy's Girl), saying, "C'mon, send nudes," garnering over 6,000 likes in a day.

On March 19th, 2025, The Hill^[13] uploaded a video about the controversy involving Harry Sisson under the title "Influencer Harry Sisson EXPOSED? Women ACCUSE Him Of LYING, Having Female ‘Roster,’" receiving over 6,300 views, 230 likes and 130 comments in three hours.
