About
"Goyim Are People Too" is a catchphrase in a series of image macros and GIF captions said by an imagined other who is then laughed at by the devout Jewish subjects represented in the chosen image or GIF. Commonly, an image of the male characters from Family Guy laughing at their fictional hangout spot, The Drunken Clam, is used. "Goyim," or "goy," is a Hebrew term for non-Jewish people. The meme seemingly comes from a series of 2023 iFunny posts.
The "Goyim Are People Too" image macros were commonly used on X / Twitter in 2025, often in quote-tweets or replies as a way to react to tweets that only a goyim would post. Used to humorously criticize certain subcultures that only non-Jews would participate in, "Goyim Are People Too" wasn't only used by Jewish internet users and was widely adopted by the larger internet to ironically adopt the feeling of Jewish empowerment. The phrase also became a phrasal template online, as netizens replaced "goyim" with other words, following the format, "X Are People Too."
