"Huzzah! A Man of Quality!" is a memorable quote uttered by the character Toad in the 2006 computer-animated film Flushed Away. A screenshot of the character has since been used as a reaction image macro to express sincere or sarcastic admiration for another.

Origin

On November 3rd, 2006, the film Flushed Away was released in the United States.^[1] In the film, Toad (voiced by Ian McKellen) says, "Huzzah! A man of quality!"

About eight years later, YouTuber mrTwisby posted the clip of the scene on YouTube. Within five years, the post received more than 23,000 views (shown below).

On June 13th, 2017, Imgur ^[2] user dankmemesnsteelbeams posted a looped video of the line with the caption "MRW I meet a man of quality who shares my love of antiquated exclamations." The post received more than 7,900 views and 100 likes in two years (shown below)

The following year, on September 23rd, 2018, Redditor ^[3] Jagger67 posted a screenshot of the line being said with the caption "When your daughters date does the naruto run to his car." The post received more than 45,000 points (93% upvoted) and 255 comments in less than one year (shown below, left).

Weeks later, on October 9th, Redditor^[4] tacomanbob123 posted the image with the caption "When you see a kid wearing a Robbie Rotten costume on Halloween." The post received more than 10,000 points (96% upvoted) and 65 comments in less than one year (shown below, center).

On May 10th, 2019, Redditor^[5] sameimore11 posted the image under a review of the website BuzzFeed. The post received more than 13,000 points (96% upvoted) and 55 comments in less than one month (shown below, right).
