I Have Four Moods: Silly, Angy, Sad And Alpha refers to a viral TikTok trend in which people share pictures depicting their moods according to an audio of a child saying "I have four moods: Silly, Angy, Sad And Alpha." The sound initially went viral in August 2023, as people used the Alpha Werewolf Transformation filter in the videos, with a new version of the trend in March 2024 replacing the word "Alpha" for other things, including a version featuring LeBron James "You Are My Sunshine" Edits.

Origin

Althougth the original sound in the trend has been deleted from TikTok, the earliest known post of the "I have four moods" was uploaded on March 18th, 2023, by TikTok^[1] user @wobblywendywitwoo, who used a filter for each "mood" ending with the Alpha Werewolf Transformation filter, which amassed more than 214,000 likes in a year (shown below, left). The currently sound of the meme available on TikTok^[2] accumulates 36,000 videos tagged on the platform, with the most popular video posted by user @rulaempire^[3] on April 17th, 2023, accumulating more than 22 million plays and 4.4 million likes in a year.

Spread

The audio sparked many parodies and versions replacing the word "alpha" with quotes from TV shows, anime and films. For instance, on March 18th, 2024, TikTok^[4] @runreadspeed_twd posted a version of the audio with a dialogue line from The Walking Dead character Negan. The audio was later then used for a LeBron James edit posted by user @evanjerichopuno^[5] on March 20th, 2024. The video (shown below, left) garnered over 7 million plays and 1 million likes in a week.

On March 25th, 2024, TikTok^[6] user @lebonbon26 posted a version of the meme featuring LeEvil James meme (shown below, right), which received more than 760,000 plays and 96,000 likes in four days.
