I'm Here to See MF Doom refers to an edited Heavy Rain cutscene in which the character Norman Jayden asks to see "Paco," only instead of saying "Paco," he says rapper MF Doom. The video features the MF Doom song Rap Snitch Knishes played over parts of the cutscene.

Origin

On December 11th 2016, YouTube user 3pac Shakir uploaded the video "im here to see doom," gaining over 19,000 views. The video features the song "Rap Snitch Knishes" off the MF Doom album MM.. Food. The video may have been inspired by the video "I'm here to see Paco," a YouTube Poop cut of the original scene uploaded March 27th, 2010 by Norman Jayden (shown below, right).

Spread

The format began to see spread in July of 2018, as other creators began to create their own versions of the meme. These include a video by omkneeALT, posted July 6th and gaining over 2,400 views (shown below, left). On September 12th, 2018, SiIvaGunner posted a remix that gained over 19,000 views (shown below, right).


Other popular uploads include a post by Xarlalt that used the Here Comes Pacman meme and gained over 6,500 views (shown below, left). User Dandy Feller posted an edit on October 29th, 2019 that gained over 4,000 views (shown below, right). A playlist of the videos was compiled by YouTuber The Mammalizer.[1]
