I'm On That Good Kush And Alcohol is a line spoken in the song Love Me by Lil Wayne to signal that the person is having a good time. In 2014 the lyrics were used in conjunction with an image of SpongeBob SquarePants on the video platform Vine before the platforms death. In 2023 the audio would resurface on the platform TikTok where it would be used with various different contexts.

Origin

On January 7th, 2014, the YouTube channel Johnathan Gettings^[1] uploaded the earliest remaining copy of the original Vine. In the vine, Patrick is shown going up to what is believed to be a crying SpongeBob. In a Bait-and-Switch moment, SpongeBob turns around and sings the verse, throwing off Patrick and earning over 400,000 views in 10 years (shown below).

Spread

The audio remained tied to the original vine until 2023, when it was uploaded to TikTok as part of Hood Irony memes. On July 12th, 2023, the TikToker illegalbugtrader^[2] uploaded a heavily edited version of the original vine, in which several notifications, cuts, alarms, and various sounds are added. The TikTok gained over 250,000 likes in six months and helped to bring new life to the Vine audio (shown below).

The audio then continued to spread across the site, often being attributed to other clips of SpongeBob and having him recite the line. On September 20th, 2023, the TikToker richardvera_06^[3] uploaded a clip of Squidward and SpongeBob in which SpongeBob says it after mining hot sauce that burns his face (shown below).

In late 2023, the audio became used as the background to Leeyanncn's dancing motion in which he sways back and forth while holding food. This is seen in the TikTok uploaded by kash.runs.you^[4] on September 28th, 2023, in which Leeyann can be seen dancing while holding food and the song plays in the background (shown below).
