About
Joe vs. Peter, Cleveland, and Quagmire, also known as Joe Beats Up Peter, Quagmire, and Cleveland is an exploitable scene taken from an episode of Family Guy. In parodies, graphics and music are added to the scene to make it look more like a fighting video game.
Origin
On October 7th, 2007, the Family Guy episode "Believe It or Not, Joe's Walking on Air" aired.[1] In the episode, Joe Swanson gets surgery to regain his ability to walk and proceeds to do heavy physical activities such as rock climbing and karate. He starts hanging out with more athletic friends, and leaves his old ones behind, even growing distant from his own wife Bonnie. Peter Griffin, Glenn Quagmire, and Cleveland Brown come up with a scheme to attempt to re-cripple Joe by fighting him with various melee weapons. However, since Joe is so physically fit and better trained for combat, he is easily able to take them all on at once. After the three are defeated, Bonnie appears with a gun to shoot Joe in the spine, but she keeps missing her shots and hits Joe in several places on his body. So Joe instead decides to shoot himself in the spine to spare himself the torture. The scene (shown below) was uploaded to YouTube by TvBuff on March 24th, 2018, where it received over 387,000 views in over four years.
