About

Marvel One-liners are a set of Millennial Writing cliché quips and one-liners that are either said by superheroes in the Marvel Comics and Marvel Cinematic Universe movies or sound like they could be said by them. In March 2022, Fans When memes about Marvel fans not finding any such one-liners in the 2022 film The Batman became popularized. In July 2022, the parody trend was reignited by the quip "They're right behind me, aren't they" appearing in the 2022 film Thor: Love & Thunder.

Origin

On March 4th, 2022, the superhero film The Batman based on the DC Comics of the same name was released.[1] Shortly prior to the film's release, jokes about fans of Marvel comics and movies, a more lighthearted universe compared to DC Comics, being angry at the film not having many quips in it gained popularity on TikTok. For example, on March 1st, 2022, TikToker[2] celtworld.v2 posted a clip that gained over 320,000 views and 60,000 likes in four months (shown below, left). On March 3rd, 2022, TikToker[3] @big_burtis_curch_6d9 posted another example that received over 94,200 likes in five months (shown below, right).

"Take a chill pill Riddler" "Orphans do it best "I'm The Batman, I like bats..ok?" 8:12 AM - Mar 6, 2022 Twitter for iPhone 99 : MCU fans when The batman doesn't say "Lets Scooby Doo this s---" after entering a crime scene in the new batman movie. The very last thing that will be done in this universe is the release of an Avengers movie.

At the end, Robert Downey the 82395874932nd's character will look to the screen and say

"Well, that just happened!"

Then that'll be it. Heat death of the universe.
