The Mornin' Girl, also known as the Morning Girl, and Strawberries and Cream Calzone refer to a character named Danielle created by British TikTok user Nina Humphrey (@ninaahumphrey) using a Snapchat filter that altered her appearance, giving her face larger eyes, a smaller nose, prominent cheekbones and fuller lips, similar to the Yassified look. Others have described the look as the "Chav Makeup" look. The character was created in a video skit called "How I think different Snapchat filters would greet you on a walk," in which the female "beauty filter" said, "Mornin'," in a casual tone. In another skit, about how different Snapchat filters would receive a pizza order, the Mornin' Girl was shown accepting a "strawberries and cream calzone." Danielle, the Mornin' Girl, became a recurring character in Humphrey's videos heading into late 2025. Others began riffing on the character in their own TikTok content, turning the Mornin' Girl into a memetic character, often paired with her catchphrase, "Mornin'," or with her pizza order of a strawberries and cream calzone.

On August 18th, 2025, TikToker^[1] @ninaahumphrey shared a video called, "How I think different Snapchat filters would greet you on a walk," in which she played multiple characters using different Snapchat filters. The second character in the video was a woman with a clinically augmented face and makeup, who casually says, "Mornin'," to the passerby. Over nine days, the video received roughly 3.6 million likes.

Strawberries And Cream Calzone

On August 21st, 2025, TikToker^[2] @ninaahumphrey posted a video skit with the caption, "How I think different Snapchat filters would receive their pizza order," in which the Mornin' Girl greets the delivery driver, "Mornin', strawberries and cream calzone? Amazing, thanks." She notably pronounces "calzone" with a long "ee" at the end. Over six days, the video gained over 5.6 million likes.

Nina Humphrey furthered the character in subsequent videos, like in one TikTok^[3] she posted on August 22nd, 2025, about how the Snapchat filters accepted breakfast in bed, in which the Mornin' Girl was featured second. Over five days, the video received over 1.6 million likes.

On August 23rd, TikToker^[4] @ninaahumphrey shared a video in which she named the character Danielle, along with one of her friends, who's also seen donning the filter, named Katie. The video's description read, "MEET THE DIVAS." It received over 607,700 likes in four days.

Others on the app began mimicking and riffing on the Mornin' Girl meme during the same timeframe. For instance, on August 22nd, 2025, TikToker^[5] @quillsk posted an edit of the Mornin' Girl, using the clip from the original video. Over five days, it gained over 295,500 likes.

On August 23rd, TikToker^[6] @floptincrookes posted a compilation of the Mornin' Girl clips, captioning it, "My spirit animal." Over four days, the video received over 1.9 million likes (shown below).

On August 25th, 2025, TikToker^[7] @itsedandri posted a video of herself using the same Snapchat filter as the Mornin' Girl, paired with a caption following the "Nobody:" phrasal template, claiming that she had been reenacting the Mornin' Girl character all week. Over two days, her video gained over 110,300 likes.
